Timeshare is a word that means a method of ownership for a certain property. This is usually a property that is used for a certain period of time during the year. Too many incidents of visitors being confronted in the street while on holiday in Malta has led to the Maltese authorities taking action against the timeshare companies who employ sales staff to seek out possible visiting buyers.Complaints have risen in recent years from holiday makers who have had their time on the island spoiled by being approached on a daily basis to attend presentations - that can last up to four hours -in the hope that some will buy into holiday property ownership and timeshares.But the Malta tourist authorities have seen the damage it is doing to the island's economy, ....

If an owner of a Timeshare can not use it during the specific time period he will either loss his week or he will have to bank it with an exchange company. If he does nothing with the timeshare they will loss their maintenance fees and taxes for the year which range from $400 to $1000 for the more lavish resorts. If the Timeshare owner was to bank it they have membership fees and banking fees which eat away at there pocket even more.
The above mentioned are a big part of why Timeshare owners are excited to rent ....

The current wave in timesharing sales at resorts is investing in all inclusive resort packages. You are charged one fee that includes everything from your room to your meals and entertainment. The bad news is it is not easy to sell timeshares. It can be very difficult, if not impossible because of supply and demand.
